We recently celebrated our daughter’s 1st Birthday at Datchet spice Lounge and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, helping us set up and making sure everything ran smoothly. The food was absolutely amazing—everyone really enjoyed it. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the space worked perfectly for our gathering. It felt both special and relaxed, which is exactly what we wanted for such a meaningful occasion. A huge thank you to Saba and the team for making our little girl's first birthday so memorable.

The best Indian family restaurant & Pub in the Datchet area. Local’s must visit. The food is authentic & delicious and staff is amazing and service is excellent. Newly renovated and very clean. Parking is available. I strongly recommend datchet spice lounge - an authentic Indian restaurant. I will definitely visit there again soon!!

It was absolutely an incredible experience at Datchet Spice Lounge! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a beautiful ambience that set the perfect tone for the evening. The food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. Whether it was the rich curries or the freshly baked naan, everything exceeded my expectations. The drinks were equally impressive, with a great selection that complemented the meal perfectly. The service was outstanding, with staff who were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The entire experience was top-notch, and I can’t wait to return! It was Easter Sunday so very quiet. Bright, clean, colourful, pleasant environment with Asian music at an appropriate level. I've been coming to this building since it was built, it's been many restaurants. Now it is excellent. I had jalfrezi and lemon rice. First they checked that I was aware that jalfrezi can be quite hot for some people, but it is one of my favourites and did not disappoint. Spice level was perfect, the meat tender yet firm, you could see the holes where the skewer had been and taste the grilling, good quality meat. If I had to find something to say, I would have liked to see some whole green chili but I did find fresh root ginger. Not at all greasy either, I was very pleased. The lemon rice was excellent too. Who ever commented on rice? This was perfectly cooked, very flavoursome, with curry leaves, pieces of lemon and Nigella seeds. I had a glass of Merlot with my meal which was also very good. The staff were very attentive, friendly and kind, all in all, I am very pleased to have this restaurant on my doorstep.

Had my wedding reception there. The food was amazing and banquet hall was very cozy , fun and most importantly isolated. Had a space to have a makeshift dance floor. We’re able to design a 3 course buffet of our choice as well. Good hospitality and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Best Indian Food I have ever had!! Portions are very generous the food tasted fresh and authentic ! Service was very professional and we even enjoyed some great Indian Rap :)
